NAMI Jacksonville is dedicated to supporting and improving the quality of life for individuals and families affected by mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse through compassion, education, and advocacy. Their vision is for people with severe and persistent mental illness to recover and lead productive, meaningful lives within their community.


Founded in 1987, NAMI Jacksonville operates on four cornerstones: Support, Education, Advocacy, and Research. With more than 220,000 members and 1,200 affiliates across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and Canada, NAMI works tirelessly to bring hope and progress to those affected by severe mental illness.
