Volunteer Highlight: First Coast - No More Homeless Pets

First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) is a leading animal welfare organization based in Jacksonville, Florida, dedicated to making veterinary care affordable and accessible to prevent shelter overpopulation. Operating one of the largest spay/neuter clinics in the country with over 20,000 surgeries annually, FCNMHP supports at-risk animals and strengthens community shelters through innovative programs. Their services include the Pet Food Bank, Feral Freedom, and affordable veterinary care, all aimed at keeping pets with their families and out of shelters. Founded in 2002, FCNMHP has become a model for sustainable, no-kill initiatives, distributing over 1.8 million pounds of pet food and establishing vital clinics across the Southeast.
